River Arts District Project Description
Along the banks of the French Broad River in Asheville, North Carolina, sits a stunning two-story restaurant built from 19 high-cube containers. This project came together in just eight weeks thanks to the strong vision of Asheville locals Matt Logan, Kristie Quinn, and chef Mark Rosenstein, the expertise of modular solutions company SG Blocks, and ConGlobal’s container modification know-how.
During the container modification process ConGlobal removed container tops and bottoms. Once assembled, the modified containers were used to create a spacious dining and bar space with 19’-high ceilings. The builder installed clearstory windows to accommodate the gorgeous river views. The result was a fresh, modern dining spot for all to enjoy in Asheville’s River Arts District visitors.
